Hi! I’m Aleisha!
Aleisha Fato is a Senior Podiatrist and Director at Sole Podiatry’s Essendon clinic. She is currently seeing patients at our Essendon and Keilor East locations. With 19 years of experience in private podiatry practice — including the last seven with Sole — Aleisha has a particular passion for general and geriatric podiatric care, ingrown toenail treatments, and all dermatological treatments such as warts, callouses and corns.
Ingrown toenails hold a special place in Aleisha’s heart: she battled them herself as a teenager, and there’s nothing she finds more satisfying than helping a patient walk out pain-free. She also loves treating all skin and nail conditions, helping patients’ feet look and feel their best, and thrives on the day-to-day general care that lets her build genuine, ongoing relationships with the people she treats.
Aleisha graduated from La Trobe University with a Bachelor of Podiatry in 2007 and has been a driving force behind Sole’s Essendon clinic since its launch, proud of the growth the team has achieved in just three years.
Outside the clinic, Aleisha’s weekends belong to basketball courts across Victoria, cheering on her three sons and her coach husband. Otherwise in her very minimal down time, she enjoys watching sports, and you can usually find her glued to the TV weekend when the Formula 1 is on.
Fun fact: she decided to become a podiatrist at 14 year old — and hasn’t looked back since.
