Hi, I’m Lidia!
I graduated with my Bachelor in Health Sciences and Masters in Podiatric Practice from La Trobe University in 2013. My passion for this field purely came from the thought of feet being one of the most vital parts of the body….without your feet, where would you be?!
I have been lucky enough to practice in Melbourne and in London. My experience has been both in private practice and the public sector. I initially joined the team at Sole Podiatry in 2014, but have recently taken a hiatus from practising and was living in Berlin and eating my way through Europe.
The areas in podiatry I am most enthusiastic about are; diabetic foot care and education, ingrown toenail surgery and prevention, acute injuries of the foot and leg, and footwear education. Other skills that I have obtained over the few years of practicing Podiatry are; dry needling and prolotherapy. I’m extremely excited about continuing to grow as a podiatrist and keep learning new skills.
I enjoy running, snacking, yoga and (much to Sarah and Emily’s dismay) watching the Bombers defeat Carlton. I have also competed in weightlifting in the past, but following two fractures and multiple injuries, decided to let that go and now enjoy hiking with my partner when get the chance.
