Hi, My name is Miriam!
Growing up I always knew that I wanted to work in health but could never decide in what area. I would spend many many hours dancing and found that as my training hours increased and I went on pointe so did the amount of injuries to my feet. It was through seeing a podiatrist myself , that I became fascinated in the rehabilitation process and discovered just how important the lower limb is in the way we move.
Since graduating I have been lucky enough to work privately, both interstate and in Melbourne which has exposed me to all aspects of podiatry. I find it so hard to pick just one favourite area of podiatry but, I really love musculoskeletal injury prevention and management as well as diabetic foot health care. I love keeping my patients moving and help them do the activities they love feeling confident and strong.
Outside of work I love to be active. You’ll find me dancing when I can, going to the gym, playing netball, futsal or taking the dog for a walk. Otherwise spending some much needed time with my family and friends
