Hi, My name is Sophia!
Sophia is a podiatrist at our Pascoe Vale and Keilor East clinics, with a particular interest in ingrown toenails, fungal nails, warts, and diabetic foot care. If you’re looking for a podiatrist for diabetic foot care in Pascoe Vale or Keilor East, Sophia is a great person to see. She especially enjoys treating ingrown toenails because of the immediate relief it can bring to someone who’s walked in sore or a little anxious — often creating one of those “why didn’t I come in sooner?” moments for patients.
Fungal nails and warts are more of a longer-term process, and Sophia enjoys working through that journey with patients, finding a treatment plan that feels manageable and seeing their nails and skin gradually improve over time.
Diabetic foot care is where Sophia feels most at home. For her, it’s not just about the appointment in front of her, but the relationship built over months and years — helping patients feel genuinely informed and confident about looking after their feet so they can stay comfortable, active, and healthy well into the future.
Sophia graduated from La Trobe University with a Bachelor of Podiatry (Honours). For her, good podiatry starts with listening — taking the time to properly understand what matters to each patient before mapping out a treatment plan that’s practical and tailored to them. More than anything, she wants every patient to leave feeling at ease, cared for, and confident asking questions about their feet.
Outside the clinic, you’ll usually find Sophia on the tennis court or experimenting with a new baking recipe in the kitchen, with family and friends never far away — along with her puppy Timmy, who has well and truly taken over her life, her camera roll, and most conversations. Fair warning: she’ll probably show you a photo of him whether you ask or not.
