Laser FAQ’s

This will depend on your condition and other treatments you have been recommended.

  • Acute condition: Daily to 2-3 times weekly
  • Chronic condition: up to 2-3 times per week
  • Long term condition: 1-2 times per month

This can vary depending on the type and severity of your condition. As a guide;

Acute: 4-6 treatments
Chronic: 6-12 treatments

Most of the time improvement (pain reduction) is felt after the first treatment. Sometimes for chronic conditions several treatments are necessary before results can be felt/seen. Often after 3-4 treatments, results will be felt.

Laser is a great tool we have to speed up healing and recovery, and works best when used together with other forms of treatment for best results.

There is nearly no sensation during treatment. Occasionally, mild warmth can be felt. Painful or inflamed areas can be briefly sensitive before pain reduction occurs.

Laser therapy is an additional $59 on top of your consultation rates. (This may be claimable through your private health insurance). We do offer discount rates for multiple sessions.
